Chris Robbins, Managing Principal

Chris is a Managing Principal of GreenRock Healthcare Capital. Prior to GreenRock, Chris was Managing Director at CleanFund, one of the country’s leading providers of C-PACE capital to commercial property owners. Prior to joining CleanFund in 2014, Mr. Robbins held executive positions in a number of finance and real estate related companies, including six years as a principal of Appian Capital, a private commercial real estate investment company where he led the firm’s capital strategy, business development and origination efforts.  His passion for the healthcare industry extends to philanthropic activities, currently serving as the President of the Northern California Real Estate & Development Council for City of Hope.  Chris earned his B.A. from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.

Michael Lincoln, Principal

Mike has a deep background in capital formation and healthcare real estate. He began his financial advisory career in the corporate banking division of Bank of America. For the past 20 years he has focused exclusively on healthcare including leadership roles at GE Healthcare Financial Services, Lillibridge Healthcare Services and MBRE Healthcare Real Estate. Most recently Mike served as the Group Head of Midwest Corporate Banking for SunTrust Robinsons Humphrey and holds FINRA series 7,79,63 & 24 licenses.  Mike has a B.A. from Colorado College and an M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Mitch Creem, Principal

Mitch is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 30 years in leadership positions of prominent hospitals and health systems including most recently as CEO of Verity Healthcare.  He has served as CEO of Keck Medicine of USC and CFO of UCLA Health Sciences, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Tufts Medical Center.  Mitch was also a board director and CFO of Apollo Medical Holdings (AMEH) and helped to uplift it to NASDAQ.  He began his healthcare career with PwC and earned his B.S. from Boston University and MHA from Duke University.

Robert Scannell, Principal, Head of Capital Markets

Robert Scannell is the founder of Tradewinds Investment Mgmt, LP, which from 1994 through 2015 managed numerous funds investing in emerging markets, distressed assets and healthcare. Tradewind’s flagship fund ranked in the top 10% of funds globally over its 20-year history. Prior to founding Tradewinds he spent 9 years in institutional fixed-income sales at Merrill Lynch & Co. Recently he managed the Biotech Tracker, a biotech fund that uses proprietary software to mine SEC 13(f) data. He holds a B.A. and M.B.A. from Penn State University, a JD from Purdue University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Wilson Cheng, Principal, CFO

Wilson has over 20+ years’ experience in managing accounting, operations, and compliance of financial services firm.   He was previously chief financial officer/chief compliance officer at Fort Baker Capital Management in California, a global event driven investment firm, and was responsible for the launch and ongoing operations.  Prior to joining Fort Baker in 2015, Wilson was chief financial officer of Tradewinds Investment Management, as well as chief financial officer at EcoAlpha Capital Management and controller at Watershed Asset Management.  Early in his career he was a senior accountant at EisnerAmper (formerly Harb, Levy & Weiland).  Wilson received a MBA in International Business from San Francisco State University and a B.A. in Architecture from ShenZhen University in China.  He is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a CFA  Charterholder.

Joe Euphrat, Managing Principal

Joe was an early partner and senior executive at CleanFund Commercial PACE Capital and prior to CleanFund, he spent twenty-five years in healthcare finance and real estate. While at E.F. Hutton and Lehman Brothers, he advised hospitals and health systems on capital planning, strategy and tax-exempt bond financings. As hospitals continued to own and lease real estate, Joe began focusing exclusively on healthcare real estate, serving both the needs of hospitals and healthcare real estate investors. He headed the U.S. Western Region healthcare capital markets for JLL and healthcare real estate for Kaufman Hall, a national advisory firm for hospitals and health systems. Joe is a graduate of the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and is a Member of the Board and Chair of Finance Committee for Marin Health Medical Center in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Jim is a retired PwC Vice-Chair, where he served as Global Health Industries Leader and Chief Investments Officer, in addition to other roles.  He is currently a board director and advisor in the healthcare, energy, and technology sectors.  Jim is a CPB in California and Texas and holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University.

James McManus,  Advisor

James joined MultiCare in 2019 as their CFO. He previously served as CFO at Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae, CA; VP of Finance at St. Joseph Health System in Orange, CA; and CFO at St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. He also held leadership positions with Tenet Healthcare and Interhealth Corp. James holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach.

David Hood,  Advisor

As Managing Director, David leads Sonen Capital’s private markets investment activities, with an emphasis on real assets portfolio strategies. Previously, Dave was a MD at Stanford Management Company, where he oversaw the overall investment portfolio for $9B in AUM in real estate, private equity & natural resources investments for the Stanford University endowment.  Before Stanford, David was a Senior MD of Real Assets for Sterling Stamos. Prior to joining Sterling Stamos, Mr. Hood was one of the founding partners at Lone Star Opportunity Fund, where he held various responsibilities, for over $1 billion in commercial mortgage debt and real estate portfolios. David holds a B.A from Stanford University & and M.B.A from Harvard Business School.

Martin Arrick,  Advisor

S&P Global Ratings.  Martin Arrick was the recent managing director in the Corporate & Government Ratings Group, & senior analytical leader & group spokesman for the not-for-profit healthcare group. Based in San Francisco, Martin lead a team of healthcare analysts throughout the country and was actively involved in all aspects of the healthcare practice. Martin holds a B.A. from Case Western Reserve University and an M.B.A. and Masters in Public Health from Columbia University.
